Motels Near Sea Bright, NJ

Sea Bright is a small beach town on the far-northern New Jersey shore. The town is just minutes south of Hartshorne Woods Park and Gateway National Recreation Area's Sandy Hook Unit. Nature enthusiasts will find a diverse array of wildlife and scenery in Sandy Hook, as well as the oldest operating lighthouse in the United States, according to the National Park Service. The area has ocean beaches, freshwater ponds and salt water marshes that are home to more than 300 species of birds. Visitors will be able to see New York City's downtown skyline from the beaches, along with the ships entering the heavily trafficked New York City harbor.

Fairbanks Resort is on Ocean Avenue, which is Sea Bright's main strip. The beach is across the street and the bay is in the back of the motel, providing views of sunrises and sunsets. The restaurant next door offers Spanish and Portuguese specialties, as well as regional seafood and steak dishes. A heated, outdoor pool is on-site, along with a pool bar that serves cocktails. The bar also offers light fare and a children's menu in the evening.

SeaScape Manor is about four miles north of Sea Bright. SeaScape is nestled in among the trees of Hartshorne Woods Park, and it overlooks the Atlantic Ocean and Sandy Hook National Park. The inn's four country-style rooms include such accommodations as bathtub for two with ocean views, a private deck and a fireplace. Guests can receive Thai massages in their rooms. SeaScape Manor offers a gourmet breakfast served on a deck with panoramic ocean views. Guests also can relax around the fireplace in the inn's parlor. Several restaurants are nearby, as well as shops and entertainment.

Sandy Hook Cottage, about 3.5 miles north of Sea Bright, overlooks the ocean and Sandy Hook Bay. It also offers panoramic views from New York City to Long Island, New York. The cottage has three uniquely furnished guest rooms that reflect the region's diversity. Amenities include luxury beds, Internet access, digital cable television, a daily beach pass for Sandy Hook and afternoon refreshments.
