Beachfront Hotels in Ogunquit, Maine
Ogunquit, Maine, with its three-mile stretch of white sand, as well as harborside restaurants, shops and galleries, has long been a seaside destination in southern Maine. The scenic Marginal Way, a 1 1/4-mile walk along the rocky coast, conveniently joins Ogunquit Beach with the town's popular Perkins Cove. Lodging options on Ogunquit are plentiful, but finding instant access to the beach from your room could be a challenge.

The Norseman

Literally on the beach, the Norseman is the only waterfront lodging in Ogunquit. Most of the Norseman's rooms lead onto a patio, balcony or deck where you can unwind in between beachcombing sessions. All guests have private baths and refrigerators, and some will also enjoy electric fireplaces. In addition to the inn, which has a store for your sunbathing needs, two beachfront apartment rentals are also available.

Blue Water Inn

Abutting the beach parking lot and the Ogunquit River, the Blue Water Inn Beach House & Restaurant offers views of the river where it flows into the ocean. An intimate setting with just six rooms, the Blue Water offers free continental breakfast, wireless Internet and a heated patio. Some rooms have private baths and one has a balcony overlooking the estuary. Take advantage of the on-site bar and restaurant with daily lunch and dinner, which serves options from vegan to seafood.

Neptune Inn

Choose from rooms with either ocean or river views, portside rooms or efficiency units at the Neptune Inn on the Beach. Only steps from the white sand beach and beach parking, the Neptune Inn allows you to forgo the headache of vehicle traffic. Many of the Neptune's guestrooms have welcoming porches with a water view, and all have private baths, refrigerators, air conditioning and free wireless Internet.
