Leaf Verde Resort is just 32 miles outside Phoenix and contains pull-through sites with 50 amp electrical hook-ups. There 400 of these sites and another 300 long pull-through sites. Visitors can also find parts and service if they arrive with their rig on the fritz. The swimming is large and is often the site of water volleyball matches. Guests can try their hand at hustling pool inside the Leaf Lounge. Other features at this Buckeye RV resort include a large area for barbecues, a beauty shop, a convenience store and laundromat. Buckeye Hills Regional Park is less than two miles from Leaf Verde.

Destiny RV Resorts

Just five miles from downtown Buckeye is Destiny RV Resorts in the community of Goodyear. All sites here feature full hook-ups. The large outdoor pool is heated and there is a fitness center on-site to keep guests in shape. Guests can bring along their pet and take advantage of the fenced walking area. The clubhouse is the site of planned activities and social gathering. This RV park is just a couple of miles away from Estrella Mountain Regional park where visitors will find 33 miles of hiking and biking trails. This park also has a catch and release policy for fishing in the Gila River.

Augie's Quail Trail RV Park

Augie's Quail Trail RV Park is just to the south of Buckeye in the community of Gila Bend. This RV campground provides 109 sites with 36 pull-through slots large enough for the biggest rigs. Full hook-ups include 20/30/50 amp power. Facilities include a laundromat and a clubhouse big enough for 250 people when the resort holds one of its many RV club rallies. One interesting amenity peculiar to this park is the free scheduled trip to the Barry Goldwater Bombing Range, where visitors watch jets practicing high over the desert. The Phoenix International Raceway is just a half hour away and guests won't want to miss a trip to the Organ Pipe National Park to view the beauty of the Sonoran Desert landscapes or try their hand at the miles of hiking trails.
