Agawam is in Southwestern Massachusetts, bordering Connecticut. Situated on the banks of the Connecticut River, Agawam combines a rural atmosphere with small town charm. Perry Lane Park in Agawam and Mittineague Park in neighboring West Springfield are two great areas to spend time outdoors picnicking or enjoying the view. For more adventurous outings you can visit Robinson State Park in Agawam. It has 800 acres of land situated on the Westfield River which is a great spot for canoeing and kayaking. The park also has more than 20 miles of trails for hikers, mountain bikers, walkers and horseback riders. The Agawam area has plenty of motels to make your stay more comfortable.
