Basil's Restaurant
Owners Chef Vailios Kourakis and his wife, Kathy, opened Basil's more than 25 years ago. This intimate French restaurant is the recipient of 11 Wine Spectator Awards of Excellence for its wine list. Located one block from Narragansett Beach and Towers, the quiet atmosphere is a diner's respite from the nearby tourist areas. The menu features frog legs, New England lobster tails and coq au vin. Diners are encouraged to dress comfortably. Basil's is closed on Mondays.
