Established as a market town in the 17th century, the population of Lurgan has grown to roughly 42,000. Located in the middle of Northern Ireland just 19 miles southwest of Belfast, Lurgan features a large wooded park and a lake close to Brownlow House, the town's most famous architectural attraction. The park and lake form a popular site for outdoor activities and are home to several annual summer events, including the Lurgan Agricultural Show.

Old School House Inn

The Old School House Inn advertises friendly faces, good food and comfortable beds. Newforge House

A fully restored Georgian country house, the Newforge House is an award-winning hotel 30 minutes from Belfast. Built in 1785, the Newforge House has been in the same family for six generations.
