The Blue Parrot has casual Cajun and creole cooking designed to make visitors feel like they are in New Orleans. The lunch from Tuesday through Saturday is from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m and is a great bargain for $5.95. It includes a soda or iced tea. Choose from jambalaya, chicken and shrimp creole, New Orleans gumbo and red beans and rice. The regular menu has a large selection of appetizers, salads, burgers, sandwiches and entrees such as blackened red fish and Jack Daniels chicken. The Voodoo Bar offers special mixed drinks, beer and wine, and there is entertainment on the weekends.

Borders Cafe is a mix of Cajun and Mexican cooking. The restaurant offers quality food at an affordable price. The tortillas and salsa are made from scratch. Cajun appetizers on the menu begin the meal.
