Interstate cowboys dust off their chaps before heading into the historic town of Harrison, Arkansas. Located deep in the Ozarks, Harrison exudes small-town charm accented with modern conveniences such as espresso on gourmet menus. Fishermen flock to one of the five major lakes nearby while underground explorers tunnel into the one of the 2,000 caves in Blanchard Spring Caverns. Located 35 miles south of Harrison, Buffalo Camping and Canoeing's guests find themselves on the banks of the breathtaking Buffalo National River. Buffalo Camping offers two types of guest cabins. The deluxe log cabins combine rustic ambiance with modern sophistication. Each deluxe log cabin features a full kitchen, central heating and air, hot tub, and television with VCR. The Gilbert cabins are behind the historic Gilbert General Store. These cozy cabins provide guests with all the standard amenities including a kitchenette, separate bedroom, air conditioning, and barbecue grill. There are no televisions in the Gilbert Cabins. The only phone service is at the Gilbert General Store.

Buckridge Hideaway

Just north of Harrison, Buckridge Hideaway provides guests with secluded charm. The stone cabin sits on the edge of a 256-acre homestead. Guests gather around the fire pit roasting marshmallows. Local wildlife grazes nearby. Daily operations are made easy with the latest amenities. The cabin's modern features include a fully equipped kitchen, a gas fireplace, central heat and air, satellite TV, DVD player, CD player, covered porches, and a horseshoe pit. Buckridge Hideway also offers in-house therapeutic massage and grocery service for an additional fee.

Heather Hill Log Cabins in the Ozarks

Located between Harrison and Jasper, Arkansas, Heather Hill Log Cabins provides your crew with the perfect launching point for everything Ozark. Two cabins situate themselves among 20 acres of private forest packed full of wild animals roaming in their natural habitat. Guests drive a short distance to Buffalo River to swim, hike, fish and raft. Canoe rentals are available for a small fee. The log cabins offer deluxe amenities with all the little luxuries that include woodburning fireplaces, cathedral ceiling with ceiling fans, full kitchens with modern appliances, linens, and a television.
