Sheffler's Motel
Located 18 minutes from Pioneer, Sheffler's Motel provides a small oasis with reasonably priced accommodations. Palm trees and other vegetation surround the one-story hotel with its white stucco siding and red tile roof, which is the typical architecture of the Southwest. When you check in you'll find the smiling face of the owner, most likely holding her dachshund. Pets are welcome here. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The rooms are white and furnished with two stuffed chairs and a round table, a dresser with a TV on top, a queen bed and two bedside tables. Some rooms have a microwave and refrigerator. The pool area isn't glamorous, but a swim in the clear, clean water will certainly refresh you in this desert location.
