Hokkaido, in the Hanover Mall, is pretty much the only other option for Asian cuisine in the middle of town. While the name seems distinctly Japanese, the truth of the matter is that this restaurant serves mostly noodle and rice-based Chinese, Thai, Malaysian and Indonesian dishes. Service is fast and the prices are affordable.

South of Hanover, just 10 miles down the road in neighboring Kingston, lies one of the area's most popular Thai restaurants, Bangna Garden. While dishes there cost slightly more than in other restaurants, fans of Bangna Garden tout its food and service.
