Cape May Point State Park
Cape May Point State Park is located on the very southern tip of New Jersey and is home to the Cape May Lighthouse. The Cape May Lighthouse is 157 feet tall and features 199 steps to the top. The park also features three walking trails ranging from a half-mile to two miles long. Fishing is available along the cost and the park is a popular site for bird-watching.

Island Beach State Park
Island Beach State Park is located just north of Wildwood along a 10-mile stretch of undeveloped barrier island beach along the Atlantic. Because of its unique open nature, Island Beach State Park has attracted wildlife for birdwatchers and ocean fishermen. There are designated areas for swimming, scuba diving and sailboarding, as well as trails for both cyclists, hikers and horseback riding.

Double Trouble State Park
Double Trouble State Park is located farther up the New Jersey Atlantic coast from Wildwood, but offers some unique features. Double Trouble displays the pine barren area of central New Jersey, as well as four working cranberry bogs. The former cranberry farm offers a glimpse at historic 18th- and 19th-century buildings in the Double Trouble historic village. There is also a two-mile nature trail on the grounds.
