Hotels in Ravenna, OH

Hotels in Ravenna, OH
Located just east of Kent, Ohio, Ravenna is a small town that strives to stay small. During the late 1990s, the city spent a good deal of money restoring the old buildings along Main Street. As a result, Ravenna looks like something out of a Norman Rockwell painting. Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy the Portage County Hike and Bike trail. There are other outdoor adventure possibilities in Lake Erie, 35 miles north of Ravenna.

Rocking Horse Inn

The decor at the Rocking Horse Inn may put off some visitors, much of it in fluffy frills and lace. Each room is decorated in a distinct color scheme. The furnishings are all antique, from the bed frames to the dressers to the claw foot tubs. The Rocking Horse Inn takes every opportunity to exude the "old time" feel the town of Ravenna has worked so hard to cultivate. However, the rooms do include a variety of modern amenities such as a television with DVD player, air conditioning, wireless Internet access and a ceiling fan.

Outside, guests are invited to take advantage of the large patio area, with comfortable wicker furniture and barbecue grill. The Inn also offers a complimentary breakfast. From January to March, a resident massage therapist is available.
