Children's Museum of the East End
The Children's Museum of the East End hosts exhibits designed with very young children in mind and holds rotating events and exhibits meant to inspire learning at the earliest ages. Permanent exhibits -- designed like a playhouse -- let kids explore different environments. On one, kids tread along a raised wooden boardwalk, through a hollow log, out of a mouse hole and into a fantasy tree house. On another, The Crawler Garden, they learn about bugs and select fruits and vegetables. They can also explore CMEE's Main Street, sail the seas on a seafaring ship, drum away in the Musical Forest and get artistic in the Drop-In Art Studio.
