Tequisquiapan is a colonial village in Mexico that has thermal waters, local vineyards and cheese. With an average year round temperature of 64 degrees Fahrenheit, the town abounds with hiking trails, swimming pools and outdoor activities. Along its narrow cobblestone streets, there are markets selling indigenous arts and crafts as well as small restaurants serving authentic regional cuisine. Tequisquiapan is also host to an annual wine and cheese festival that's in the first weeks of May.
