Bradenton, Florida is a hub of activity for outdoor enthusiasts. Hike the trails of the De Soto National Memorial Park, enjoy an eco-boat tour of the Sarasota Bay departing from Mote Aquarium or relax at one of the city's many fishing sites. Tourists can also visit the Manatee Village Historical Park and the Ringling Museum. For RVers, Bradenton offers only one waterfront RV park, but others are within ten miles of Bradenton proper.

Sarasota Bay RV Park

Sarasota Bay RV Park is a 55+ community that provides views of Anna Maria Island. The park's 240 sites include full electrical hookups. Amenities include a heated pool, recreational hall and shuffleboard court. The park is within walking distance of Sarasota Bay. Coquina Beach, one of the area's largest beaches with a playground, showers and a boat launch, is also nearby. Pets are not permitted.

Holiday Cove RV Resort

Another waterfront RV park is in the town of Cortez, a fishing village located less than ten miles from Bradenton, and less than a mile from Bradenton Beach. An on-site marina leads to Sarasota Bay by a canal. There is a clubhouse with a plasma television, heating and air-conditioning, a fitness center and guest laundry. An outdoor heated pool offers a large sunning patio. The RV sites have electrical hookups, free cable television and Wi-Fi. You can fish from the docks and use the boat launch and slips. Restaurants are nearby, as are bowling and shopping. The resort is also convenient to the Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport.

Buttonwood Inlet RV Resort

Buttonwood Inlet RV Resort, formerly known as the Key Way RV Park and also in Cortez, offers a clubhouse with a pool table, showers, cable television and wireless Internet access. A boat dock is available on-site along with a boat ramp and free boat trailer storage. Most lots have shade trees, cement pads and picnic tables. Pets are permitted. The resort is less than a mile from Holmes Beach, which offers bike and moped rentals, restaurants and shops, along with parasailing, and kayak, pontoon and jet ski rentals.
