RV Parks Around Antonito, Colorado
Antonito, Colorado, is a small community in the southwest corner of the state. The Rio Grande National Forest is close by and offers outdoor enthusiasts opportunities for hiking, biking, fishing and camping. Antonito is a few hours from Taos, N.M., and Pagosa Springs, Colo., where visitors have many options for skiing. If traveling by RV in the region, there are several campgrounds to choose from.

Mogote Meadows Cottages and RV Park

Mogote Meadows is convenient to the Antonito area and the Rio Grande National Forest. RVs of most sizes can be accommodated in either their pull-through or back-in sites. Hookups include 30- and 50-amp electric, water, sewer, cable TV and Wi-Fi. On the grounds guests can use the hot showers, private toilets, picnic area and laundry facilities. Pets are allowed but need to stay leashed. Discounts are available for AAA members.

Gold Pan RV

The Gold Pan RV park has full hookups and many other amenities. The hookups include 50-amp electric, water and sewer. There are showers on the grounds, and a small general store. A picnic area is on-site, and fires are allowed only in the designated fire area, as per forest service rules. Pets are allowed but must be leashed. There is a dump station and a laundromat on the grounds for guest use.

Conejos River Campground

The Conejos River Campground offers RV guests a waterfront facility. Guests receive 50-amp electric, water, sewer and cable TV with all sites. A recreation hall, laundry facility and dump station are on the grounds for guest use. Hot showers and private toilets, picnic tables and a barbeque area are available too. Pets are allowed but need to be leashed during their stay. The Conejos River Campground is near the Rio Grande National Forest.
