Located in the southern central part of Colorado, Pagosa Springs, at an altitude of 7,000 feet, is a small town approximately midway between Durango and Alamosa. Wolf Creek Ski Area, which consistently gets some of the greatest snowfall in Colorado, is 30 minutes west of Pagosa Springs. The town is probably best known for the hot springs that give it its name. Over 30 mineral water hot springs of varying temperatures dot the town, providing the weary traveler plenty of opportunities for a soothing soak.

Blanco River RV Resort

Blanco River RV Resort is located right on the Blanco River and has private access to tubing, fishing and swimming on the river. The site offers 37 full hookup sites, 13 of which are right next to the river. There are 14 sites with 50-amp service, and 13 with 30 amp. Free Wi-Fi is available through the park, and showers, bathrooms, laundry facilities and a hot tub are available to guests on the site. Most of the RV sites are shaded; 20 tent sites are available as well. They offer nightly, weekly and monthly rates, and pets are allowed.

Elk Meadows River Resort

Elk Meadows River Resort, in operation for 38 years, offers daily, weekly and monthly rates at its 26 sites. The sites all have full hookups with water, electric and sewer facilities. Both 30-amp and 50-amp electric hookups are available. Each site has a phone line, picnic table and fire barrel. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the resort. Kids will enjoy the playground, and there is a rec room with TV, games and a card table available to all guests. Facilities include shower, restrooms and laundry facilities.

Wolf Creek Run

Wolf Creek Run offers 27 sites, each of which has a gazebo with an 8-by-10-foot storage area. Each site has wide concrete pads for parking. They have a private stretch of river, which is popular for fishing. The facility offers daily and weekly rates, and has full RV hookups with water, sewer, and 50 amp electric. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the facility, and there is cable TV and phone service as well. Pets are allowed, but tent camping is not. Laundry is also available on site, but they do not have showers.
