Colonia del Rey RV Park
The Colonia del Rey RV park is home to 210 RV-only sites with 30/50-amp electrical service as well as water, sewer, phone and cable TV. These are fairly well shaded and large enough to provide some sense of privacy, but the community is ungated and security is not great. If you visit during the summer, bring along a lot of insect repellent. On-site activities include a swimming pool, hot tub and playground as well as a rec room. Area attractions include deep sea fishing excursions, swimming and even surfing when the winds start blowing. The casinos of Louisiana make for a good overnight trip.
