Traders Village
Bargain hunters, shoppers, and anyone who likes to be in the center of the action take note: Traders Village Grand Prairie RV Park is part of the Traders Village mega flea market. Open since 1973, this 120-acre village includes more than 3,500 dealers, 30 food vendors and a slew of special events and festivals held throughout the year. The flea market is open on Saturday and Sundays, but the RV park is open 365 days a year. The park, rated Five Diamond by Woodall, has 212 sites, and 202 of them have full hookups, with 50-amp service. There's a swimming pool, recreation hall, grocery store, dump stations, playground, laundry, gas station, hair salon and free Wi-Fi on-site. It's about 12 miles from Irving.

Loyd Park
Loyd Park sits on the northwestern shores of Joe Pool Lake, about 14 miles from Irving. The lakefront RV campground has a variety of sites, including sunny, open sites, shaded sites and waterfront sites. All 221 sites have water, 30-amp electrical service and covered picnic tables. There's a swimming beach and boat dock on the lake, a playground, baseball and volleyball fields, two group picnic areas and six miles of multi-use trails. Lake fishing is also popular.

Arlington Forest Acres
Arlington Forest Acres RV Park is close to Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex attractions like Six Flags Over Texas, Palace of Wax, Ripley's Believe it or Not and the Texas Motor Speedway. It's about 11 miles from the center of Irving. The campground is open year-round and features shaded lots with 30- to 50-amp electrical service. Each site also has a patio, barbecue grill and picnic table. There's also swimming pool, playground and free Wi-Fi.
