Castaways RV Park is situated on 41 acres that features an abundance of shady trees and waterfront views. A boat ramp lets you drive right up and launch any kind of watercraft you may have brought with you. If you don't have your own boat, you can rent a canoe to explore Lake Conroe. The lake is perfect for either a cool swim during the summer or an exciting time skiing behind a motorboat. The lake is stocked with fish, so bring your best gear. Those who prefer the concrete bottom of a swimming pool are also in luck with the presence of both adult and kiddie pools. The 180 RV sites feature full hookups with 30/50 amps, water and sewer facilities, a picnic table, and fire ring. Castaways also has six cabins facing the lake that include a microwave, air conditioning and porch.

Park on the Lake provides a view of Lake Conroe and offers the benefit of being just 45 minutes from Houston if you get in the mood for a day trip to the big city. The 100 lakefront RV sites offer 50/30-amp hookup, and pull-through sites are also available. Those who love fishing for bass, perch, crappie and catfish should consider this park because it offers 16 boat or fishing piers. Park on the Lake includes an exercise room, Laundromat, camp store, bathrooms, showers and library. There is also playground for the kids and a basketball court. No size limit exists when it comes to dogs, but make sure they are leashed and well-behaved.
