RV Parks in Glen Rose, Texas
A trek to Glen Rose, Texas, allows the wildlife enthusiast to feel as if he has been transported across continents and millennia. A scenic drive among the giraffes, rhinos and antelope of the Fossil Rim Wildlife Center can seemingly teleport a visitor across the ocean, while the footprints of Dinosaur Valley State Park can rewind to a different time.

Dinosaur Valley State Park

The flowing waters of the Paluxy River have revealed footprints left on an ancient shoreline by creatures that have long since passed away. In addition to dinosaur footprints, Dinosaur Valley State Park offers an interpretive center, playground, hiking, biking, equestrian trails, swimming, fishing and bird-watching. RV campsites at the park include water and electric hookups and can accommodate trailers up to 40 feet in length. Additional amenities include showers, restrooms, picnic areas and dump station. Reservations during the busy season (March through November) are highly recommended. Leashed pets are permitted.
