The Silver Dragon, known for "hefty portion sizes, low prices and authentic recipes for Chinese favorites," according to owner Jenny Zhang, is a casual, family-run restaurant, open weekdays from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and weekends from noon to 10 p.m. Lunch combinations are served until 4 p.m. each day. Mongolian BBQ

The Mongolian BBQ's motto is "Make it the way you like it!" Customers first choose a bowl size, then fill it with their choice of fresh vegetables, noodles, meats and Asian sauces. Chefs stir-fry the ingredients on large woks in full view of the customer and return it to the bowl when it's done. Bowl prices vary according to time of day, with lunch prices being slightly less. Children under 5 may share all day without charge, and children under 10 may eat for a reduced price. The restaurant has 127 seats in a casual atmosphere. Mongolian BBQ is in a busy shopping center near Interstate 5.
