Amenities include three stocked fishing ponds, a trout stream and basketball and volleyball courts. The cabins have porches with rocking chairs, decks with picnic tables, and barbecue grills. Bedding, towels, soap and paper products are provided. The cabins sit on 130 acres and overlook the Great Smoky Mountains. Minutes away are Blue Ridge Parkway and Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The Cherokee Indian Reservation and Biltmore Estate and Winery are also close by.

Moose Crossing

Moose Crossing has one- and two-bedroom log cabins each with a wrap-around porch, fully equipped kitchen, gas barbecue, gas fireplace, a TV, phone, and central heat and air conditioning. Moose Crossing is open year-round and is easily accessible due to paved roads leading to all the cabins. The cabins can be rented daily, weekly or monthly. They are located half a mile away from Blue Ridge Parkway, five minutes away from downtown Waynesville and are close to Great Smokies National Park.

Rivermont Cabins

Rivermont Cabins has nine rustic and contemporary log cabins along the Pigeon River. One to four bedroom cabins with one to three full baths are available. The cabins sit on 70 acres in the Great Smoky Mountains. All of the cabins have covered porches with rocking chairs with, handmade quilts, modern kitchens and private outdoor grills. Some cabins have satellite TV and high-speed Internet access. A game room is open to guests. There are nearby hiking trails, as well as swimming, trout fishing and tubing on the Pigeon River. Rivermont Cabins are 10 miles away from the entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway.
