Carnation, Washington is located along the Snoqualmie River and also is near the Tolt River. The city is only half an hour from Seattle and three and a half hours from the Cascade Mountain Range, making the area ripe for outdoor adventure. There's river rafting and kayaking, hiking and biking, touring local dairy and fruit farms and enjoying all the waterfalls the Snoqualmie River is famous for. Carnation and its surrounding towns is less than half an hour from the river's largest waterfall, Snoqualmie Falls, which drops 268 feet.

The Roaring River Bed & Breakfast

The Roaring River Bed & Breakfast is located on just over two and a half acres of property along the Snoqualmie River. Five rooms are available and all have very unique personalities, including one room with an enormous decorative rock that hides a sauna, and eccentric cabin with crooked floors and its own kitchen. The Roaring River has the comforts and casualness of home except with gorgeous river and mountain views, making it a relaxing place to escape to. Though there is no restaurant on the premise, the bed and breakfast is run by locals who know the best restaurants just as well as the best hiking trails.

Fall City Inn

The Fall City Inn is a historic 1920s building that overlooks the Snoqualmie River and downtown Fall City. All seven bedrooms are recently remodeled and have queen-size beds, wireless Internet, HDTVs and iPod docks. The rooms also include toiletries, locally-made soap and energy efficient lights and faucets. Connected to the inn is an old fashioned roadhouse that serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks. The proprietors joined with local attractions to make it easy for guests to find activities and places to visit.
