Marine Piazza Okinawa
Marine Piazza Okinawa is not named for the U.S. military, but the beautiful marine environment of beaches and diving hotspots. The hotel is clean, although a bit outdated with 1980s-era decor, and offers convenient off-season rates. The rooms are average, with Western-style rooms with twin beds and a balcony. Motobu has excellent diving spots, including Gorilla Chop, with coral reefs that fall off to deep blue water and contrasting white sand bottom. Although Motobu is a favorite with advanced divers, a beginner can also enjoy the opportunity to experience Okinawa underwater.

Motobu Green Park Hotel
On a bluff overlooking Ie-jima, Minna and Setsuko Islands, Motobu Green Park Hotel is a well-appointed hotel offering clean, but plain Western-style rooms with deluxe twins, as well as family suites that sleep up to six people. The hotel also offers hotel guests a meal option for buffet-style breakfast and dinner. Motobu Green Park Hotel has a hotel golf course and tennis courts, but the real attraction in Motobu are the smaller islands and diving spots nearby. A few minutes walk from the hotel, the Ie-jima ferry goes to peanut-shaped Ie-jima Island, only 8km offshore. A monument to U.S. journalist Ernie Pyle who died on Ie-jima during the Battle of Okinawa is there. However, do not miss the excellent snorkeling and coral reef diving spots just off the island.
