Cabins Near Statesville, North Carolina
Statesville, North Carolina is a small town in Iredell County, near the foothills of the North Carolina Mountains. In town, Lake Norman State Park offers swimming, kayaking, canoeing and a mountain bike course, or you can take day-long excursions out to the Piedmont and foothills for hiking and mountain biking. The city is 45 miles from Winston-Salem (to the east); less than half an hour's drive to the north or west, you'll find small mountain towns with cabin lodging, tucked away into the Blue Ridge Mountains.

L&J Cabin Rentals

The scenic Blue Ridge Mountains are the backdrop for these three rental cabins. Choose a cabin with one, two or three bedrooms, each with air conditioning, cable TV, fireplace, laundry, and an in-unit hot tub. Pets are welcome, but must stay outside the cabin. The cabins are handicap accessible and open year-round. While you're in the area, bring your mountain bike to the Virginia Creeper Trail, which runs through the Jefferson National Forest, all the way to the Virginia state line. Or check out the canoeing in the New River State Park--it's a good spot for beginners because of the smooth, shallow water.
