RV Parks in Longmont, Colorado

Located northeast of Boulder and 37 miles north of Denver, Longmont was named one of the Top 100 Places to Live in the U.S. by Money Magazine in 2006 and 2008. Residents have a stunning view of Longs Peak in Rocky Mountain National Park, which is where the town got its name. Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park is only 30 miles from Longmont. Though it has stunning views of the mountains, Longmont is on the plains. It does, however, have several places for an RV owner to camp on her way to the mountains.

Boulder County Fairgrounds

Boulder County Fairgrounds offers year-round RV camping; showers and bathrooms are available from March through September. Guests are limited to 14-day stays through a calendar year. The Fairgrounds offers rates for hookups with no water or electric, hookups for water or electric, and hookups for water and electric. They also have a dump station onsite with a fee for use. There are a total of 92 RV sites at the Fairgrounds.

Countrywood Inn & RV Park

Countrywood Inn & RV Park is open all year and offers daily, weekly and monthly rates. There are 20 winterized sites with water, sewer, cable TV and electricity with 30 amp and 50 amp service at all sites. The sites are 25- to 50-feet long, and most are shaded. Free high-speed Internet access is available at the Inn next door with a pass code provided by the office. The Inn also offers showers, laundry facilities and restrooms to RV guests. Telephone hookups are available at the RV sites as well.

Parrish Ranch RV Resort

Parrish Ranch RV Resort first opened as a square dance camp in 1959 and now is the site of a working cattle ranch. Parrish has shaded, grassy RV sites tucked up against the Little Thompson River with water and electric hookups. Showers and bathrooms are available, and the site offers both daily and weekend rates. The site also offers camping in tee-pee cabins. The nearest dump station is 10 miles away at Carter Lake.
