Bulverde is located in between Guadalupe River State Park and Canyon Lake in the Texas Hill Country. Both have attractions for outdoor enthusiasts to enjoy boating and fishing. There are several parks in and near Bulverde for those looking to park their recreational vehicles and create a base to enjoy the local outdoor opportunities.

Texas 281 RV Park

Located in Bulverde, the Texas 281 RV Park has live oak trees, flowerbeds and a clubhouse dating back to the 1940s. The park has cable TV, Wi-Fi Internet access, two laundry rooms, propane, phone service, a dump station, two bathhouses and bathrooms that are handicap accessible. The campground also offers RV storage. The daily rate is $30 (2010). There are also weekly and monthly rates.

Spring Branch RV Resort

Just north of Bulverde, the Spring Branch RV Resort has rustic 50-year old barn and modern amenities on a 22-acre property. The campground has full hookups, free DSL and Wi-Fi Internet access, new bathroom and laundry facilities, a TV room, picnic area, barbecue area, playground, a campfire ring and bathroom facilities that are compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act. A daily rate for up to four people is $36. There are also weekly and monthly rates.

Guadalupe River RV Park and Campgrounds

Also north of Bulverde is the Guadalupe River RV Park Campgrounds. With the river nearby, campers have access for tubing, fishing and canoeing. There is also a local cave that is open for tours. There are 45 full hookup sites. Each has Wi-Fi access, sewer and water hookups. The campground also has a laundry facility and ice is available at the main office. A standard daily rate is $34.29 on a weekday, $38.10 on weekends. There are also offseason and holiday rates.

Guadalupe River State Park

A Texas state park northwest of Bulverde, Guadalupe River State Park has overnight campsites for recreational vehicles. Some of the sites have water and electricity. There are also facilities for clean drinking water, restrooms, a dump station and a Texas State Park Store that sells gifts and books. A daily entrance fee into the park is $7, with special discounts for those holding a Texas State Parks Pass. RV campsite rates range from $14 to $24 a night. There are also weekly rates.
