Of all the Zion Crossroads area hotels, Keswick Hall, in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, is one of the most luxurious. The Mayhurst Inn
Head 21 miles north from Zion Crossroads and you'll find The Mayhurst Inn, tucked into the mountains of Orange, Va., and promising plenty of Southern charm. Surrounded by manicured lawns and grand old trees, the Inn is a Victorian mansion built in 1859 and boasts an oval spiral staircase that goes up four flights. Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson were said to have slept at Mayhurst. Confederate troops pitched their tents during the winter of 1863.
