Voted "Best Pastrami in New Jersey" by Pastrami Lovers of America, Glatt Star Deli & Restaurant is a must for kosher visitors to Elizabeth. Other menu favorites include potato knish, meatballs on rice, chickpea salad, chicken soup with matzo ball, veggie burgers, southern fried chicken, rib eye steak, yellow rice pilaf and green beans almandine. Kids can choose from such items as chicken nuggets or frankfurters with fries. The restaurant also offers an extensive sushi menu. Rabbi E.M. Teitz supervises all menu items. The restaurant will deliver within a five-mile radius and on minimum orders of $20.

This all-Kosher pizza restaurant also offers a variety of pasta, fish and Mediterranean specialties. Favorite menu items include lima bean soup, Sicilian pizza, rigatoni with eggplant, baked flounder, fried eggplant, Israeli salad, red cabbage salad, tuna wrap, baked ziti and vegetable lasagna. Owner Elliot Rosenfeld operates the restaurant under the supervision of Rabbi E.M. Teitz.
