Joe's Shanghai Restaurant

Joe's Shanghai Restaurant opened in 1995 and is popular for its two special soup dumplings, crab pork meat, Shanghai fried bean curd, crispy whole yellow fish and Lion's Head. Over the years, this restaurant has earned the "Best Restaurant" award in New York Times Magazine and Travel and Leisure. This restaurant, which is one of three locations in the New York City area, features modern decor that sets a relaxing mood and environment. Reservations are not required or accepted, and payment at the restaurant in Chinatown is cash only. Joe's Shanghai Restaurant is open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Peking Duck House

The Peking Duck House is all about the duck, serving it with homemade pancakes, green scallions, fresh cucumbers and a special sauce.
