Specifications for Faber SCUBA Tanks

Specifications for Faber SCUBA Tanks
Faber is one of the main manufacturers of steel scuba tanks. Faber's tanks are built out of chromium molybdenum steel plates to meet DOT and TC specs. This type of tank allows divers to make correct adjustments for buoyancy, reducing the need to adjust with a weight belt around the waist. The inside of the tanks are shot-blasted with Faber's phosphatized coating. This results in a clean internal surface that is extremely resistant to rust. The outside of the tanks are treated with zinc spray, epoxy primer coat and a polyurethane finish coat that give high levels of protection and durability.
