The Chophouse steak restaurant offers an elegant dining experience in a warm, inviting atmosphere. Popular for its upscale casual dining, D & L Bistro offers affordable gourmet cuisine and attentive, helpful service in a quaint atmosphere. Menu dishes include rack of lamb, poppy-encrusted ahi tuna, surf and turf, and pan-seared breast of duckling. Pastas, entree salads, appetizers and sides are also available. Lunch options include soups and sandwiches. The wine-by-the-glass list is impressively long. Prices range from reasonable to moderate. Open for lunch and dinner during the week; dinner only on Saturdays; closed Sundays.

Jazz Factory
Located downtown in Washington Square, an elegant ambiance and casual atmosphere make Jazz Factory a good choice for food and music. Offering two floors of entertainment, diners enjoy San Francisco-style cuisine downstairs and then retire upstairs to the martini bar or to play a game of pool. Menu dishes include a Thai-style seafood stew, seared tuna served over a fried sushi rice cake, and smoked duck tart. All sauces are homemade, and gourmet San Fran pizzas are available. Serving lunch, brunch and dinner, the restaurant is open seven days a week; the martini bar is open late every night (Sunday to Thursday until midnight, Friday and Saturday until 2 a.m.).
