Chinese Restaurants in Appleton, Wisconsin

Chinese Restaurants in Appleton, Wisconsin
Appleton lies in the heart of Wisconsin's Fox River Valley. Outdoor enthusiasts will want to visit High Cliff State Park for a relaxing nature hike or bike ride with a stunning view of the river valley from atop the bluffs. You could also walk, run or ride along the Friendship or Oneida Flats Trail. If you're looking for a park, visit Telulah Park, rumored to be a favorite of the Houdini family, or Memorial Park, which houses a learning center designed by another famous Wisconsinite, Frank Lloyd Wright. Appleton's Chinese restaurants are as diverse as its landscape. There's something for every Chinese food-loving adventurer in Appleton.

HuHot Mongolian Grill

HuHot Mongolian Grill has the smallest menu of any restaurant in Appleton, but boasts the biggest variety of dishes with their make-your-own buffet. The food bar hosts a variety of noodles, meats, seafood, and vegetables that you can combine to create your own dish. Top off your creation with one of their 12 prepared sauces, favorites include Black Thai Peanut, Kung Pao...Yow!, and the house sauce, Khan's Favorite. If you have any room after hitting the all-you-can-eat food bar, indulge your inner-child (or your children) with the Sweet Victory S'mores. Your server will deliver a platter of crackers, marshmallows, and chocolate so you can toast and assemble right at the table.

HuHot is open daily for lunch and dinner.

Confucius

Confucius is a far cry from the typical Chinese food restaurant. You'll find no buffet table here, only crisp, white tables in a simple room with Zen décor. Start your meal with one of their appetizers; the list includes a variety of soups and small bites, including favorites like Shrimp Toast and Crab Rangoon. The lengthy menu contains the Chinese standards---stir fries made with chicken, beef, pork, seafood, and noodle and rice dishes. But they also serve several "Health Diet" dishes that are steamed with homemade, low fat sauce. Confucius' House Specialties and curries are the best bets. Try the Miso Salmon Filet, Hunan Duck or Red Thai Curry for a real treat.
