Established in 1913, Shaunavon, Saskatchewan, is a historic small town with many attractions for outdoor adventurists. In addition to the open prairies surrounding town where you can enjoy stunning sunrises and sunsets, there are heritage walking tours, hiking opportunities through the Trans Canada Trail, and public parks for biking and jogging. Shaunavon has several budget hotels located in the historic district of town close to nearby attractions.

King's Hotel

Formerly known as the Wetterstrand Rooming House, the King's Hotel was originally built in 1928. It is on the main walking street and is still a popular resting spot for visitors. The hotel's simple motto is "Good food, Clean rooms." Guests choose from 31 standard rooms with basic amenities. The hotel has an on-site cafe and is in the center of the popular Heritage Walking Tour. In addition, Vanrhyn farm is only a five-minute drive away.

Hidden Hilten Hotel

Guests at the Hidden Hilten Hotel can expect extra large rooms with small kitchenettes and standard amenities. Rooms have queen-size beds, air-conditioning, TV, phone, refrigerator, microwave and coffee makers. All rooms are on ground level. Nearby attractions within walking distance include the historic theatre, hardware, and furniture store. In addition, Memorial Park and Rock Creek Golf Course are a short drive away .

Stardust Motel
