The Grand Cypress resort has an on-site lake, stocked with native Florida species for catch-and-release fishing. Lake Windsong offers a sand beach for swimming and sunbathing and a marina for renting canoes, kayaks, paddle boats and sailboats. The property features a 24-foot rock climbing wall, mini-golf course and two pools. The main pool area has two hot tubs, a sauna and heated waterfall. Guest can also rent aqua-cycles or hydro-bikes for cruising on the beach and regular bikes for touring the resort.

The villas range from studio to four bedrooms, and all units feature a full kitchen, washer, dryer and private patio. For wining and dining outside the room, the resort has seven restaurants and five lounges, including one by the main pool. On-site amenities also include a full-service spa and fitness center.

Eo Inn & Spa

The Eo Inn & Spa is small in size but high in charm. This 17-room boutique property is located on an old-fashioned brick street in downtown Orlando, across the street from Lake Eola Park. The trendy park offers a relaxing setting in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the city. Visitors and locals alike visit Lake Eola to walk or jog along the paved pathway, stroll through the gardens or take a ride on the swan boats.

The rooms feature individual luxury decor with queen or king-size beds, private baths and free WiFi access. Some rooms have a private balcony. This property recommends reservations because of its size and location.

Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa

Westgate Lakes offers numerous on-site activities, including seven heated pools with hot tubs and four kiddie pools. The property is on Big Sand Lake and has its own dock and marina, where guests rent kayaks, paddle boats and pontoon boats. Fishing poles and live bait are also available for fishing from the dock. The resort schedules a variety of activities daily for kids and families, and there are facilities on the premises for tennis, basketball and volleyball.

The villas at Westgate Lakes range in size from studio to four bedrooms, and almost all units come with a full kitchen, washer, dryer, whirlpool tub and screened-in patio. The property offers high-speed Internet and WiFi access, and the resort welcomes pets weighing less than 60 pounds.
