Hotels in Brecon, Powys, Wales
Brecon is a small town in Powys, which is the largest county by land area in Wales, covering nearly the entire eastern half of the country. It is home to the Brecon Beacons National Park, which is something of a hiker's paradise, as it is home to the famous 100-mile-long trail Beacons Way, spanning the entire length of the park. Thankfully, there are plenty of enchanting places to stay in Brecon, from castle hotels to tiny traditional bed and breakfasts.

Cantre Selyf

Cantre Selyf is a four-star luxury bed and breakfast containing three double rooms, one of which is a twin. Each room comes with a private bathroom, complete with showers. Rooms come with hospitality trays with coffee, tea and biscuits, hairdryers and free wireless Internet access, and the beds have crisp cotton linens. Note that Cantre Selyf is situated in a building dating from the 17th century. All guest rooms are on the second floor, and there is no elevator, so it is not really an appropriate accommodation option for disabled guests.
