Charlie Chaing's Restaurant

Family-owned Charlie Chaing's Restaurant is a "modern Asian kitchen and sushi lounge." The family has prepared and served food for President George H. Bush at his inauguration and for President Bill Clinton. The ambiance is inviting, the decor is stylish and funky and the staff is attentive and helpful. The menu has beef, pork, poultry, vegetarian and sushi dishes. The Sashimi comes highly recommended by locals and entrees include nutty jumbo shrimp, crystal scallops, Peking duck, honey tempura chicken, crispy hot beef and orange tangerine steak. General T'so's chicken is considered a must-try. Lunch specials are available Monday-Saturday, and there is a weekend brunch. Prices are affordable. An extensive cocktail, beer, wine and sake list also are offered. The restaurant is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner.
