Hotels Near Lake Holcombe, WI

Lake Holcombe, Wis., is a tiny town right on the lake, offering more than 120 miles of shoreline where fishermen can catch sturgeon, blue gill, bass, walleye, musky, catfish and crappie. Visitors can camp, swim, fish, boat, canoe, hunt, snowmobile, water ski, golf, ice fish, bike and more. Chippewa Moraine Ice Age Recreation Center offers nature studies, trails, hiking, picnicking, snowshoeing, trapping and fishing. While there are many cabins and motels in the area to accommodate overnight guests, most of the larger hotels are located outside of Lake Holcombe.

Paradise Shores Resort Hotel

Paradise Shores is right on Lake Holcombe, giving you direct access to swimming, water skiing, boating and jet skiing. During the winter, the hotel is close to the Tuscobia and other snowmobile trails, and you can ice fish on the lake. The hotel has a variety of rooms, including suites with kitchenettes, a cabin and a honeymoon suite. Amenities include a whirlpool, swimming pool, sauna, lounge and restaurant. Some rooms come with a microwave, refrigerator and/or pullout bed. Non-smoking rooms are available.

The Holiday Inn Express is located about 30 miles southwest of Lake Holcombe in Chippewa Falls. Close by are Lake Wissota State Park, Irvine Park and Zoo, the Heyde Center for the Arts, and many bike trails. The hotel features an indoor pool, fitness center, whirlpool, guest laundry facilities, business center and complimentary breakfast. Each room has cable television, free newspaper delivery, coffeemaker, hair dryer, wireless Internet, microwave and refrigerator.

The Ramada in downtown Eau Claire is about 35 miles southwest of Lake Holcombe. Nearby are walking trails, the Children's Museum, Hobbs Ice Arena and the University of Wisconsin/Eau Claire. The hotel features a restaurant and lounge, convention center, indoor pool, complimentary newspaper, high-speed Internet, airport shuttle and complimentary breakfast.
