Joining a fishing club is a great way to meet new people and find fishing partners. Most clubs have regular outings and volunteer time and money toward conservation efforts. Minnesota is covered with lakes and streams and has year-round fishing opportunities. Fishing is a favorite past time in the state and there are many regional clubs where you can learn and share knowledge about fishing.

This club is large and organized with chapters across the state of Minnesota. The club hosts tournaments, volunteers to educate youth about fishing and is active with conservation efforts and education. Chapters have regular meetings and fish outings. Many of the members are competitive fisherman while others are recreational fisherman

Lake Superior Steelhead Association

This is a conservation minded club based in Duluth. Their goal is to protect the steelhead habitat and fisheries surrounding Lake Superior. The club has regular meetings and events including workshops and guest speakers. Through volunteer efforts they educate fisherman about conservation and protecting Lake Superior Steelhead.

North Metro Muskies

This club is based in Fridley and is for the musky fishing fanatics. They have regular meetings and club events. The club has a monthly newsletter that keeps members up-to-date and can be viewed online. Members can enter contests and tournaments and win prizes for their performance. Minnesota Trout Unlimited

Trout Unlimited is a national non-profit focused on the conservation and preservation of trout habitat. The organization has state and regional clubs.
