Burlington is a city located in Ontario, Canada. The city of Burlington is situated on Lake Ontario, which gives visitors the opportunity to eat at waterfront restaurants. For outdoor enthusiasts, Burlington offers a number of activities such as hiking, biking, bird-watching and nature viewing at Waterfront Trail, Royal Botanical Gardens and Niagara Escarpment and Bronte Creek Provincial Park.

Carriage House Restaurant

This restaurant is situated on Lake Ontario. The lunch menu consists of appetizers and nclude shrimp cocktail and fresh onion soup. Main dishes range from $18 to $32 and include beef tenderloin steak, chicken Caesar and fish and chips. The dinner menu features house cured salmon, grilled octopus salad and shock oysters, in addition to pastas, cheese ravioli and Strozzapreti Carbonara with Bayonne Ham and meats such as beef tenderloin, rib steak and provimi veal chop. The restaurant is open for lunch Tuesday to Friday 12 noon to 2 p.m. and dinner Monday to Saturday 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. The restaurant is closed on Sundays.

Pepperwood Restaurant

This restaurant is located on Lake Ontario and offers a lunch and dinner menu consisting of soups and salads, appetizers, pizza, pasta, entrées and sandwiches, all ranging from $7 to $30. The restaurant is open Monday through Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 midnight, Thursday 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m., Friday 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m., Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. and Sunday 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Spencer's at the Waterfront

Spencer's is located on Lake Ontario and offers a view of the lake at every table. The lunch and dinner menu includes starters, seasonal salads, seafood and pizza, with grilled steaks and entrees available for dinner. The restaurant opens at 11:30 a.m. Monday through Saturday. A Sunday brunch starts at 9:30 a.m. with the last seating at 2:30 p.m. The afternoon menu on Sunday is available from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., when dinner starts.
