Lime Rock is a small historic district in Salisbury, Conn. in Litchfield County. It is the home of the world famous Lime Rock Park Race Track, which hosts such reknown races as the NASCAR Busch, Professional SportsCar and SCCA Pro Racing organization events. Lime Rock became the home of the Lime Rock Artists Community in 1923, which lasted through 1935 and held large prestigious art exhibits. An extended stay in Lime Rock is an opportunity to enjoy one of the area's few lodging establishments.

The White Hart Inn

The White Hart Inn is a spacious inn within walking distance of the Lime Rock district. It offers a restaurant and tavern as well as private baths, air conditioning, cable television, coffee makers and hair dryers. Iron Masters Motor Inn

This inn is close to Lime Rock Park. They offer rooms that are both pet friendly and allow smoking. Guests can choose rooms with a king bed, two queens, or a double and a queen.
