Yats
Yats provides Indianapolis residents and visitors with a genuine taste of New Orleans. In 2007, Yats was voted "Best Creole Food" by the readers of "NUVO" magazine. Each dish contains a choice of sauce or stew served over white rice and with two pieces of spicy French bread. With most dishes priced at $5 or less, it is one of the more affordable dining options in the Broad Ripple area.

Bazbeaux Pizza
Bazbeaux Pizza is a local chain, the first of which opened here in its Broad Ripple location in 1986. Set in a historical house where the town's gravedigger once lived, Bazbeaux has won a string of "Best Pizza" awards from the local media over the years. Diners should try the Bazbeaux Special, which comes with basil, sun dried tomatoes and garlic.

Brugge Brasserie
Traditional Belgian cuisine is the specialty of this Broad Ripple favorite, which also brews its own beers. Boogie Burger
The "Indianapolis Star" gave Boogie Burger four stars upon the restaurant's opening in 2007. Boogie Burger has quickly grown into a Broad Ripple institution, with its simple Americana fare. Burgers, fries and shakes are the staple here, and guests are not likely to find much better in Indianapolis. The chilly cheese fries is a meal unto itself.
