Sully's Italian Restaurant
Other Italian restaurants have come and gone, but Peter Seitz and his wife, Carlye, have owned and operated Sully's for 25 years. Peter Seitz describes the restaurant as "family dining at reasonable prices" and attributes Sully's longevity and popularity, especially with local residents, to that. "People know they can get a good meal for not a lot of money," he said. Sully's menu offers classic Italian food such as lasagna and eggplant parmesan as well as traditional seafood, veal, and chicken menu items, available as dinner (including) or ala carte. Dinners include antipasto, soup or salad, and bread. Sully's also offers several salads, including a chicken Caesar salad, Chicago-style pizza, Calzone, American options such as steak, and a children's menu. Especially popular, says Seitz, is the "combination menu," which consists of half portions of popular menu items; guests can order two items in combination.
There are usually two or three nightly dinner specials, Seitz said. "They're seasonal--right now, in winter, we're offering fresh oysters." In the lounge, nightly specials include half-price bar menu items.

Primarily Pizza
There are a number of places to grab a slice or a salad, including take-out franchises such as Domino's and Papa Murphy's and restaurants such as Abby's Legendary Pizza, Izzy's and Straw Hat California Pizza. One locally owned pizza restaurant stands out: Raymond Cibelli's New York Pizza. Cibelli's has an Italian-themed, family-friendly dining room with black and white checkered tablecloths, photos of Italian movie stars and the classic Chianti bottle. The restaurant offers salads, calzones, garlic bread and made-to-order pizzas.
All pizza is "make your own," said Ashley Woodfork, who has worked at the restaurant for three years as a cashier/counter person, "so it's hard to say what's most popular." Woodfork says the restaurant, which is less than 10 minutes from downtown Redmond in the Nolantown Shopping Center, caters to everyone. "We're across the street from the high school, so we get a lot of high school students for lunch." At dinner, Woodfork said, the restaurant caters to families, tourists and folks on a date.
