The small town of Loudonville is located within the larger town of Colonie in Albany County, New York, and is part of the Albany metropolitan area. Those planning to explore the Albany region will find the Loudonville-Colonie area to be a good home base. Visitors will enjoy proximity to attractions such as the Mohawk River Front, the Mowhawk Hudson Bike way, Howe Caverns, Landis Arboretum, the Hudson River, the Albany Pine Bush Preserve as well as several golf courses, wineries, water sport opportunities and historic sites.
