Ray's Boathouse

Ray's Boathouse is a fine dining experience complete with elegant nautical theme. Situated overlooking the bay, the restaurant's tables boast water and marina views. Pine walls, booths and accents warm the rooms, and tapestry lamps hanging over tables provide an inviting atmosphere. Service is efficient and knowledgeable. The menu changes weekly to reflect what is seasonally and locally available. Dishes offered include grilled Alaskan king salmon, Dungeness crab cakes and smoked chatham strait sablefish. Guests also can find eared white gulf prawns, lamb T-bone, Northwest-style bouillabaisse and sea scallops. Desserts and a kids menu are available. Ray's Boathouse is open for dinner nightly., and prices are moderate.

Michou Fresca

Michou Fresca is a deli with kicking fresh seafood, a laid-back atmosphere and extremely reasonable prices if you're in the mood for something light and tasty and don't want an elaborate sit-down dinner experience. Tables and chairs are basic and comfortable. Locals rave about this deli downtown in Pike Place Market and its fresh salads, pasta and sandwiches. It's known for its smoked salmon, other favorites include sierra chicken and gnocchi. Portions are healthy.

The Georgian

An elegant meal experience awaits you at The Georgian, tucked away inside Fairmont Olympic Hotel. Courteous, conscientious staff greets and serves you, and the atmosphere is upscale and refined. Palladium windows, ornate chandeliers and tapestry table linens set the tone. Executive Chef Stevenson prepares French-inspired Northwest cuisine. Menus range from bacon-wrapped veal tenderloin to roasted Muscovy duck breast and Northwest seafood sampler to filet of Angus beef. The smoked salmon, Dungeness crab roll is a must. The Georgian is open for breakfast daily, as well as lunch and tea; dinner is served Tuesday to Saturday.
