Veterans' Memorial Park
The men and women who have fought to preserve the rights of our citizens are remembered in Winder at the Veterans' Memorial Park. Dedicated to Winder's veterans, commemorative, engraved bricks line the walkways of the memorial park in honor of local vets and their families. Wander through the area lined with trees, plants and shrubs attractively placed near the commemorative bricks or sit and contemplate on one of the park benches. Each year more bricks are added from recent wars and those that occurred long ago. It circles the downtown area as a reminder to the town and visitors.
