Sushi Restaurants Near South Waterfront, Portland
South Waterfront is a neighborhood in Portland, Ore. Outdoor activities in South Waterfront are canoeing and kayaking on the Willamette River and hiking or biking on the "40-Mile Loop" and Marquam trail. South Waterfront also has neighborhood parks where you can participate in outdoor sports. Different kinds of restaurants are located in the neighborhood, and sushi restaurants are located nearby.

Blue Fin Sushi

Blue Fin Sushi serves Japanese cuisine for dine-in and for take-out. The restaurant features an automated sushi bar and is where more of the seating is situated. You can place special orders, but most of the sushi moves along a conveyor belt which winds through the tables in the restaurant. Specials include vegetarian sushi rolls, raw sushi rolls, cooked sushi rolls and entrees. The cost of the sushi that you consume is based on the number of plates and the kind of plates that you have on your table. Alcohol is served. Reservations are recommended but are not taken on Saturdays.

BaRa Sushi House

BaRa Sushi House is located on the the first floor of a historic house. Items on the menu include nigiri, sushi combinations and specialty rolls. Nigiri choices are Amaebi (sweet shrimp), Aji (spanish mackerel) Ebi (prawns), and Hamachi (yellowtail). The sushi combinations are assorted nigiri sushi, 11 pieces of chef-choice sushi and exotic nigiri combo. Specialty rolls are assorted sashimi arranged over sushi rice and Na Roll, which is crab leg meat, spicy octopus, tempura asparagus, green bean, sweet potato and eel sauce. Happy hour is every Sunday to Friday from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Every Tuesday, BaRa Sushi House offers half-off on hot sake and salads, and all house rolls are buy-one-take-one. You can reserve a tatami room for six to 10 people.

Todai Japanese Sushi and Seafood Buffet‎

Todai Japanese Sushi and Seafood Buffet‎ is an upscale sushi and seafood buffet restaurant. Todai has a 160-foot seafood buffet counter with a vast selection of sushi and sushi rolls and more than 15 dishes. Some dishes are baked green mussels, deep-fried Dungeness crab, steamed clams and yakisoba noodles. A dessert bar with cakes and fresh fruits also is available. You also can order made-to-order items such as prime rib, Japanese noodles, hand rolls and crepes. Alcohol is served, and catering services are offered. Kids eat free every Tuesday, and you can avail of a free meal on your birthday. Senior citizens receive 20 percent off during dinner. Children under 12 also eat for a special price, depending on their height.
