The town of East Hampton is the easternmost town in the state of New York on Long Island. The village of East Hampton includes the Montauk, Amagansett, Wainscott and Springs communities.

East Hampton has eight state parks and several nature conservancy areas. Hither Woods Nest is 3,000-plus acres of woods, dunes and beaches popular with hikers and bicyclists. Camp Hero has five trails on a former military base in Montauk and is a popular spot for surfers. Seal Haul Trail, one mile from Montauk Lighthouse (at the ocean's waterfront on the easternmost point of Long Island), has five trails. The 'Walking' Dunes is a 3/4-mile trail that encircles dunes, some reaching 80-feet tall. Point Woods Trail, located in Camp Hero State Park, has scenic hiking trails.

East Hampton Point

East Hampton Point has seven suites and 13 cottages. Each two-level suite has an English Country Manor elevation with private entrance, king-size bed, plasma television, marble bath, sitting room with desk, wet bar with refrigerator and complimentary Internet access (in-season). Each two-level cottage has one to two bedrooms in English countryside elevation with private entrance, queen or king-size bed, sitting area, kitchenette, bath with Jacuzzi, plasma television and complimentary breakfast (in-season).

Sunset Marina Bar and Dining Room is open from April 1 to Labor Day and overlooks Three Mile Harbor, serving American cuisine. East Hampton Point staff can recommend specific restaurants in Hampton Village.

East Point has a large indoor swimming pool, fully equipped fitness center on-site and one outdoor tennis court. East Point operates two full-service marinas adjacent to property: East Point Hampton Marina and Shagwong Marina.
