Located approximately 20 minutes west of downtown St. Louis, along Interstate 44, Sunset Hills provides a suburban nook of quality trails. Visitors can wander through the forest or play disc-golf in one of Sunset Hills' oldest parks, Watson Trail Park. For a more cultural experience, you can tour Laumeier Sculpture Park and its rolling hills adorned with outdoor pieces of art. After some hiking, choose from a limited selection of area restaurants for Chinese cuisine.

Crazy Bowls and Wraps

Crazy Bowls and Wraps focuses on providing sensible, balanced meals with fresh ingredients. The diverse menu ranges from wraps to bowls and salads to even quesadillas. The Chinese-influenced aspect of the menu includes egg rolls, lobster rangoon, sweet and sour, yaki soba noodles, stir-fry and teriyaki. Only one of the menu items contains more than 800 calories. For dessert, Crazy Bowls and Wraps serves specialty fruit smoothies with high protein. Visitors can dine in, carry out or even order catering for large groups.

Emperor's Wok

Emperor's Wok features Chinese cuisine with an American influence. House specialties feature Lake Tung Ting shrimp, shrimp and scallops in garlic sauce, and Hunan-style beef and chicken, among others. The rest of the menu includes variations of chow mein, egg foo young, lo mein and diverse entrees for each meat. Diners can eat from the buffet and order carry-out or delivery. Alcohol is available; the restaurant is open daily (11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday; 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday).

Sesame Chinese Restaurant

Open daily (11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday; 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday), Sesame serves traditional Chinese fare. Restaurant specialties include crispy lemon chicken, shrimp with walnuts, green jade scallops and more. "Deluxe dinner" options also are available for different party sizes, ranging from two to eight. Alcohol is available and there is a smoking section for diners.
